Zane noticed that disgusted look on her face and tilted his head a little, And she's back again...? What the heck is her problem, is she schizophrenic or something? He shook his head slowly and watched her with confused blue eyes. She hates me, then kisses me, then hates me again... His curiosity got the best of him, he had to figure her out. Zane watched her glare down at him and stood, hating the fact that she was glaring down at him instead of up.
"Nice try. Almost fell for it." Zane blinked, thinking, Fell for what? It only took him a couple minutes to figure it out, She thinks I'm a player! Of course! Ha, she's wrong. Comepletely wrong. Zane noticed movement out the corner of his eye and turned his head to see her starting to wander away. He noticed her stop and sneeze, Great, she's got a cold. This is my chance, so I don't have to run... Zane parked himself in front of her and looked down at her. "Woah, woah, wait a minute. Fall for what? Listen, if you think..."

Sunni stopped herself from running into Zane who popped up in front of her. Man, he doesn't give up. She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, glancing to the side as he spoke. "Woah, woah, wait a minute. Fall for what? Listen, if you think.." "That your a player? Yes that's exactly what I think! I'm on to your little game. Your pretty good, but I'm no normal girl." Sunni let a smirk tug on her lips.
The rain picked up, baring down on them. She stood her ground, feeling the need to stand against this player. She took a step back feeling a bit too close to Zane, but parked herself a foot away. She placed her hands on her hip. Another lighting hit the mud around them. It was literally a few feet from Sunni. She jumped when the thunder roared behind her. She was so scared she reached out to Zane and tightly hugged him. Om my god I'm going to die!

"That your a player? Yes that's exactly what I think! I'm on to your little game. Your pretty good, but I'm no normal girl." Zane shook his head slowly. Knew it... "And I'm no player. Trust me." He told her with a genuine smile. Please believe me. I hate coming across as a player, I hate those kind of guys. Retards. He then remembered what she said. No normal girl...? "What do you mean by 'no normal girl'?"
Zane looked up at the sky just as thunder roard after lightning flashed. He felt arounds wrap around his lightly and looked down to see Sunni. Yep, she's a shizo. He smiled a little to himself and wrapped his arms around her waist to comfort her, though he didn't know if it would work. She was unpredictable. "Wanna get out of this storm, or what?" Ha....my emotional level is so out of whack not. I'm probably coming off as some weirdo with multiple personalities...whatever it's called. I can tell he's telling the truth as least... Zane's no player. Zane asked about what she blurt out 'in the moment' of telling him she's no normal girl. Curious one. But it's more like no normal human. Instead of girl. Luckily that means I can get away with this...unless he catches the lie. Guess we'll find out. Sunni sighed,"I meant that I'm tough minded and you couldn't fool me." Actually that's pretty much the truth. I am a tough minded chick.
Zane wrapped his arms around Sunni's waist to comfort her. Honestly it was enough to calm Sunni a bit, but not enough to be goody-girl nice. She pulled herself away and cleared her throat. Zane asked to get out of the storm in a sentence one could take rudely, but Sunni chose not to. Sunni nodded,"I'll grab us an hotel room. I owe you that much. Besides i have no where to go right now. I'm at the beach. And Matt and his wife are at the house she was staying at.
Upon entering the hotel Sunni broke in front of Zane for a good reason. If he was a gentleman he'll try and pay for the room. But Sunni would pay the front man first. She beat Zane to the front desk and asked for a room. A brief second later she had a key in hand. She offered Zane a small smile and led him to her room where she'd be staying for the night. The room was located on the fourth floor. She pulled the key out, unlocked it and closed the door behind them. One queen size bed was spotted imminently. She shrugged. It's not like he's staying the night. So I didn't bother getting two.
Sunni reached into the small bathroom and grabbed two towel. She tossed his his own and her's on the bed. She plopped down on the bed and pulled her hair bow out. Her blond locks were very long and very thin at the moment since they were wet. She fiddled with her hair and glanced up at Zane once in a while. She sighed and stood up. She snatched his towel from him. She began drying his hair with the towel. "I apologize for my abrupt manner. It's usually a habit to be mean to someone I don't know...but tonight I was out of line. My emotional level was sky-rocket."

"I meant that I'm tough minded and you couldn't fool me." Zane grinned a little,"Oh, I can see that." He chuckled and shook his head. That's the truth. Zane watched the raging waves crash angrily against the grains of sand. Oh, Surfside Beach. You never know what you're gonna get. His gaze then went up to the dark and cloudy sky, rain starting to pour even more. Watch it be sunny in a couple hours, like this never happened.
"I'll grab us an hotel room. I owe you that much." Zane raised a brow and looked down at her. Us? Well, I guess I really have no where to go. He nodded and followed her to the hotel. He was surprised there were still people walking on the sidewalk, even though it was pouring and was dangerously lightning. Except, they had umbrellas. And the ones who were caught in the storm were running towards their destination, while Zane and Sunni just walked and took their time.
Zane reached into his pocket for his wallet as soon as he walked through the door. He took his out and held it in his hand, following Sunni to the front desk. But right when he got there, she already held a key to a room. Zane chuckled and stuck his wallet back in his pocket,"I was going to pay, but you beat me to it, I guess,"
He offered a smile. He followed her to the room. Zane took a look around the room until his was hit by a towel that landed on his shoulder. He turned his head and noticed Sunni was the one who'd threw it at him. He watched her pull her long blond lock out of a hairbow and just held the towel in his hands. He looked down at his empty hands once he felt her pull the towel from his grip and start to towel-dry his hair for him. He chuckled and let her. "I apologize for my abrupt manner. It's usually a habit to be mean to someone I don't know...but tonight I was out of line. My emotional level was sky-rocket." Zane shrugged and offered a smile. "It's fine. Perfectly fine," He told her. Once she was done, he gently took the towel from her and placed it on the counter in the small bathroom. He stayed near the door, as if unsure whether she wanted him to stay for a little bit or not. Zane gently retrieve his towel and tossed it aside. Sunni just stood there in front of him, unsure whether he'd leave or stay. Truth is I'd rather he leave. But my broken heart is telling me to keep him around. Maybe he'll be able to cure it...nah...that's stupid talk. Sunni sighed, slipping past Zane to the bathroom. "I'm going to take a shower. You can order room service if you'd like." That was Sunni's little hint that was unintentional, but informed Zane that she was giving him the OK to stay awhile. If he wanted that is. She offered him a smudged smile then closed the door.
Sunni leaned against the door for a moment. Not really thinking of anything. After a brief moment she waltz over the shower and turned it on. Until it was warm she pull the shower curtain aside. With all her cloths still on, she crawled into the shower and curled up into a ball, like she did under the pier. Without the lighting and thunder to fear, the warm drops of water felt very relaxing. She closed her eyes and allowed the water to substitute her tears.
After a moment she woke herself from the trance the water had her in, and pried her hoodie right off her back. She bluntly stared at her scared along her upper arms. Then she reached under her black tank-top for her back and felt the scare where her wings should be. This time she balled out crying, trying to muffle her cries with her hoodie. I'm sorry I'm sorry for my selfish deed! Please please take me back!! Earth... isn't that great....oh lord...

"I'm going to take a shower. You can order room service if you'd like." Zane watched her brush by him to take a shower. Invitation to stay for a little bit? I guess I'll take it. He nodded to her before she closed the door. But I won't order room service... Zane sat on the edge of the bed, taking the T.V remote in his hand and starting to flip the channels. Nothing good is on.. He shook his head slowly and continued to flip the channels, up and down.
Zane faintly heard crying and it sounded like it was coming from the bathroom, where Sunni was. He hesitated, but stood from the bed. He slowly made his way to the bathroom door, putting his ear up to it to listen. After just a moment of listening to her crying, he softly knocked on the door and spoke. "Sunni? Are you alright?"

Sunni jumped when she heard Zane's voice from the other end of the door. She closed the curtain and scooted back until her back hit the end of the bathtub. "I...I'm fine." Why is it that human's lie about their feelings? Wouldn't it be simpler to just tell someone... to have someone to talk to and not have such burden on you? Why are human's so sad. "My gawd I'm becoming more human," Sunni muttered out load,"...I just want my wings back..." Sunni hugged her knees. I need to get this shower over before he decides to barge in. Haha...yeah right...I'll admit I'm shocked he hasn't left yet.
Sunni stood in the shower and stripped down. She did what was need in the shower and wrapped herself with a towel. Sunni sighed,Crap. I forgot to get cloths. Sunni sighed and leaned against the door. "Zane, close your eyes. I'm coming out! I forgot cloths, so don't you dare peek!" It wasn't the fact he'd see her in a towel. It was the fear of him witnessing her scares. Sunni waited a moment then opened the door. She glared at Zane, but he did have his eyes shut. She sighed and went through the draws. you got to be kidding! I forgot I didn't brings cloths. Shoot! Sunni groaned.
After a moment she returned to the bathroom with cellphone. I have to call him. I have to call Matt and tell him to bring me my cloths...ugh...But...ok ok! You can do this Sunni ! Don't fall for any of his tricks! Just tell him how it is! Sunni gripped her phone and dialed his number. The phone rang only once before he answered. "Sunni ?! Sunni, are you alright ?! That creep didn't hurt you did he?" Sunni hesitated. Just get to the point! She cleared her throat. "I'm staying at a hotel tonight. I need my cloths. Could you not be stubborn and just bring them to me? Matt sighed,"Sure. I'll be there." Sunni snapped her phone shut and called out to Zane. "If you haven't already, you can open your eyes. I have to wait for Mat to bring me my cloths. So I'll be in here a bit. Look you don't have to wait around, I don't want to bore you or waste any more of your time." Sunni made her way over to the bathroom counter and stared at her scares through the mirror. • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • OUTFIT! jogging, go ! NOTES! blank ! "I...I'm fine." Zane could tell she was suttering, and shook his head slowly. Whatever you say, Is what he wanted to say. But instead, he said,"Alright..." He sighed softly and heard her voice again, so he put his ear back up to the door and listened intently. Though he only heard a few words,"more human...wings back" He stared at the door as he listened. But when she stopped talking to herself, he walked back over to the bed and sat down, laying back with his arms under his head as if substituting for a pillow.
"Zane, close your eyes. I'm coming out! I forgot cloths, so don't you dare peek!" Zane chuckled and closed his eyes, his arms still under his head and never leaving that same position. She listened to her open drawers and realized, She didn't bring clothes... But what was he supposed to do? Once he heard the bathroom door close, he opened his eyes to see the ceiling and just stared at it, lost in thought. "If you haven't already, you can open your eyes. I have to wait for Matt to bring me my clothes. So I'll be in here a bit. Look you don't have to wait around, I don't want to bore you or waste any more of your time." Zane sighed softly,"You're not." He simply said what was on his mind, which was that.

He's lying. Of course I'm wasting his time. I'm sure he has other things to worry about. Sunni trances her vampire bite scares with her free hand. Her light touch tickled her skin. It felt nice. She had to admit to her pathetic self, that after being bitten by vampires enough. You sort of.... want to get bitten. To have your blood taken... kind of like an addiction. Guess I'm craving it. But there's no vampires here. Zane's definitely no vampire.
A soft knock on the door woke Sunni from her thoughts. She ran to the door and opened it. Matt! But noticed Zane was out there, so she closed the bathroom door shut and sighed. "Zane...I hate to ask this of you... but can you get the door for me?" Sunni cracked the bathroom door open and said in advance,"Thanks."
"Here. Look we need to..." Matt trailed off when he discovered Zane at the door. A glared instantly formed on his features. "Where's Sunni?" Sunni called out from the bathroom door that was creaked open a bit. "Just give me my cloths. I'm in the bathroom." Matt ran into Zane shoulder on purpose as he past him to get to the bathroom. Sunni reveal the lower part of her hand so Matt could give the clothing to her.
"Sunni, are you really that mad to not even face me?" Matt pulled on her arm and revealed her scares on her upper arm. Sunni gasped and dragged Matt into the bathroom before snapping it shut. "Are you insane! He saw them!" Matt sighed,"Sorry I didn't know you were in a towel." Sunni blushed and snatched her cloths bad from him. "Leave." He started to say her name until Sunni interrupted him,"We can talk later, but for right now....leave." Matt sighed and exited the bathroom.
Sunni cursed under her breath and used the bathroom door to slide down until she was sitting down her butt. Crap... Matt stood outside the room door and glared at Zane. "Don't you dare touch her, or harm her! He then stormed off and left them be for the night. Sunni got dressed and gripped the clothing bag tightly before opening the bathroom door and making her way next to the bed. She tossed the bag to the side and went in front of the mirror to brush her hair.

"Zane...I hate to ask this of you... but can you get the door for me? Thanks." But Zane was already up and making his way slowly to the door. "Sure thing." His placed his hand on the doorknob, but just stared at it for a moment. He sighed softly and turned it, slowly opening it and looking at Matt. "Here. Look we need to..." Zane chuckled as Matt glared and shrugged as if saying 'sorry',"Sorry, I'm not Sunni." He stayed in the door way, as if trying to block the way for Matt to come in. But he wasn't. "Where's Sunni."
Zane didn't stumble back when Matt ran into his shoulder, but his shoulder moved back a little. He watched Matt pull on Sunni's and noticed scars all up her arm. What the...it's like all different scars, not just the same one. I wonder where she got them. Zane decided to leave it alone for now and stayed near the door, leaning back against it. I don't know how she loves him...
Zane just watched Matt glare at him for a moment, then turned and opened the door. He motioned Matt to walk out. But even when he was outside the door, he still stood there and glared at Zane, who only smirked. "Don't you dare touch her, or harm her!" Zane decided to make him even more mad and called down the hall as Matt stormed off,"Can't promise that!"
He grinned and shut the door, walking over to the bed and laying back down on it as he was before. His arms under his head like a pillow, like he had never moved. "Can't promise what?" She watched him plop back down onto the bed. Sunni grabbed all her hair and let it all fall on one side of her neck. She began to brush her hair, simple strokes. Sunni finished brushing her hair and jumped on the bed, laying on her side beside Zane. Her arms brushed against him. All warm. The bed was warm, Zane was warm. Warmth was very important to Sunni.
She closed her eyes for a moment, feeling sleep wisp her away. She forced herself to open her eyes when she reminded herself that Zane witnessed her scares. She avoided his eyes but decided to not run away from facts. "You saw it... didn't you..," Sunni asked him with a quiet voice.

"Ah...nothing. Just messing with him,"
A small smile pulled at the corners of Zane's mouth. He turned his head so he could see her and watched her brush her long blond locks of hair. Which made him unintentionally run his hand through his hair. He dropped his hand back to his side, now only one hand keeping his head up. She turned his head to look at Sunni as she laid on her side beside him. Zane could tell she was tired and smiled a bit to himself. He just watched her as she closed her eyes and he suddenly felt a bit tired himself. But he forced himself to keep his eyes open. He noticed her flicker her eyes back open and could see something was bothering her by her eyes. "You saw it... didn't you.." Zane instantly knew she was talking about her scars all up her arm. A car's headlight crawled on the wall while the car turned into the Hotel. Sunni noted his hesitation. Is he frighten to figure out who did this? Would I even tell him...? Have you ever come across someone you felt completely safe with, even if a stranger? Some how your able to just open up to them and you believe you wont be judged, but rescued? Sunni felt this way with Zane. Even though he's a complete stranger, she feel's safe and perhaps she will inform him about her scares. Maybe not the whole truth though.
Finally he admit he spoke up and admit to her that he did witness the scares. Sunni didn't show it, but she was surprised he didn't curiously ask how it came to be. Does this mean he doesn't care to know? I rather not inform someone who'd care less. Instead of blurting out a semi-truthful explanation. She decided to wait for him to curiously ask her.
Sunni shifted to her other side. With her back turned to Zane she lowered her eyes and reacted how she got the scares in her mind:
"I understand..." The young girl parted from her dark appealing parents to approach Sunni. She wore a cute smile. "My name's Isabella," when she spoke her voice resembled chimes. So innocent and gracefully sweet, "Can I have a little taste?" Sunni reluctantly dropped to her knees. I have no where else to go. They offer food, shelter, a "job" if you will that they'd pay me for. I have no choice...only they will take in an outsider like me... Isabella placed a fragile finger on her lips, decided where to taste. She chose the ironic place. The neck. Sunni stiffened when she felt the presence and how close the girl had gotten to her neck in a blink of an eye. The girl grinned, "It wont hurt...much..." Such an appropriate sentence. Sunni closed her eyes and prepared for the worse. Suddenly Sunni gasped when the small girls fangs pierced her neck, he eyes flashed open to see she was laying on the ground with a group of vampires biting along her upper arms. To them... she tasted like heaven... literally. And even though they'd suck every once of her blood. Sunni would regain her blood instantly and come gasping back alive. Because she's immortal. The perfect blood source. Thunder roared outside her bedroom window and, thankfully breaking her from her nightmare, but still frightening her. Sunni jumped, scooting back until she felt something warm. Zane. I can't believe I forgot he was here! "Sorry..." She brought herself to sit up before she picked up her body and let a foot of distance back between them. • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • OUTFIT! Zane watched a car's headlights glide down the walls of the room, his eyes following it until it disappeared. He could feel as if Sunni was observing him, but when he turned his head to look at her, he could see her eyes on the bed. I wonder if she noticed my hesitation. I didn't want to say the wrong thing...she's so unpredictable. One minute she doesn't want to even look at you, then the next she's hugging you or kissing you. Zane looked back up at the ceiling for a moment, before closing his eyes.
Maybe I should just ask her... Zane felt her turn over and opened his eyes to look at her. She had her back to him, but he could tell she was so lost in thought, like she forgot everything, even him. He was going to ask her, but he didn't want to interupt her thoughts. So he just waited and heard soft thunder, not too loud, and knew it was pretty far away now. He also wanted to know why she was so scared of storms, but remembered waht his father had told him,"Never ask a woman about their phobia. Never."
But Zane still doesn't know why ihs father had told him this, yet he doesn't ask. When thunder suddenly roared, and sounded like it was right above them, he felt Sunni scoot closer to him until she was touching him. So...that snapped her into attention. He watched her sit up, then slowly sat up himself. Just...ask Zane took a deep breath,"So, how did you get it?"
